What’s new on PUBG Patch 6.2 Update?

TEAM DEATHMATCH

Yes, the Team Deathmatch mode is now finally live, which allows players to play as eight-on-eight gunfights across seven different arenas taken from the game’s maps. The team hits 50 kills or has most kills after 10 minutes will get the winner tag (team must win two of three rounds). Well, Players respawn close to friendly players if the location is safe and Respawn 5 seconds after each death.

Grenade Changes

There have been many changes made in Grenades, including Frag Grenades, Smoke Grenades, Stun Grenades, and Molotov Cocktail. Now the Frags will deal 20% less damage to prone players, and every frag grenade now takes 27 storage capacity up from 18. The fuse time of Smoke Grenade reduced from 3 seconds to 1.Also stun grenades, and Molotov Cocktail improved for the better gameplay.

Right Peeking/Leaning

After hearing a lot of complaints about the peeking, the new update increased visibility in the community, leading to players using this mechanic to their advantage more often. Well, they finally decreased the advantage gained when peering at your opponent from the right side of objects, by exposing more of the player model. So now Players viewing their opponent from the right side of objects will now have more of their body exposed. And also Player’s head will lean slightly more towards the scope when ADS, so that character’s head is more exposed.

Karakin Changes

Makers also added the G36C and MP5K to Karakin as requested by many players while celebrating the Vikendi vacation. The loot setting also increased med but reduced the bandages, SRs, DMRs, and the Win94. Also, the speed of the plane increased while crossing the island. The blue zone effect also changes as the distortion effects removed as well as the entering and exit sounds of the blue zone changes.

Blood Effects Visibility Improvement

You will also see some changes in the blood color as the blood color saturation increased over the distance for better visibility and also added distance scaling to blood effects.

Parachute ‘Follow’ Feature

The “Follow” feature while diving through parachute also improved as it follows UI shifted to the bottom of the left of the screen, and you can still choose the teammate to follow until the exiting the plane. You can also cancel the following on the map or hold F while you are in the flight or while playing and following players in your parachute.

Furthermore, there have been improvements made in PUBG LABS, Friends List UI improvement, Performance, and Custom Match & Observer. You will also get some new skin option and some bug fixes.
